How Does is Work?
Once you become a GiddyUpFlix member, you can immediately begin making selections from our large inventory of DVD titles by clicking on the "Rent" button of the titles you'd like to see. Those titles become part of your "Rental Queue" which is a list of the titles you've chosen. You can add UNLIMITED titles to your rental queue! Once you select the DVDs you want to watch and add them to your Rental Queue, that's all you need to do! The DVDs are then shipped the next day and delivered to your door by first class mail. Each DVD is shipped in it's own separate mailer, allowing you to return whichever DVDs you have rented in whatever order you choose. You CANNOT combine 2 DVDs in one return mailer. Our postage is prepaid for one disc per mailer only. You also MUST return the DVD in the original packaging. Generally, we ship our DVDs in a Tyvek sleeve. Tyvek is a scratch-resistant material that prevents the disc from scratches. It is IMPORTANT that you always include the Tyvek sleeve with the DVD. Sometimes our more expensive DVDs may be shipped in a plastic case. Again, the plastic case MUST be returned with the DVD we shipped in it.

What if A DVD is Lost in the Mail?
Cases of DVDs just going MIA in the mail are extremely rare. Eventually they do turn up and were generally misrouted by USPS and re-routed back to the proper address. If it has been over 7 days, you may file a Problem Report which is located at the top of your rental queue. Please do not email us directly regarding these issues. The Problem Report is there to streamline these types of issues and allows us to identify your membership information and activity. We will then contact you for more information once the report is filed.

If a DVD shipment does just disappear and never turn up anywhere, it is "usually" due to an issue of mail theft or it is accidentally discarded in the trash. PLEASE check your incoming mail carefully, especially the junk mail bundles, to ensure you don't accidentally discard the mailer (which looks just like a Netflix mailer except it's blue & white). In events of lost or stolen mail, we have been filing federal USPS mail theft claims which allows both us and USPS to work together to monitor the mail activity.

Unfortunately, we have found issues of theft. Mail theft is a felony offense, so please respect us and we'll respect you. We take issues of lost mail very seriously due to the nature and value of our DVDs. Sometimes a DVD does somehow innocently disappear and we do not generally bill our members for these very rare instances. Thanks for your understanding.



How Much Does it Cost?
You can choose from 4 different Montly Plans:

What does this mean?
If, for example,  you choose the 1 DVD at a time plan, you can rent 1 DVD at a time, return it and exchange for the next DVD in your queue - and so on- as many times as you like over the course of a month - for just $10.95!

How much is shipping and what is the shipping timeframe?
Shipping is FREE each way! Your DVDs will be delivered to you in a 2-way envelope, which includes a prepaid mailer for you to return your DVD when you're done watching it. You will be receive an email notification every time a title is shipped and received. Shipping generally takes 2-4 business days each way depending on your location.

Unlike Netflix that has a shipping warehouse in every state, we are a niche service that ships from one location in Washington state. Please keep this in mind and appreciate that the value of what you are paying compared to the retail value of the DVDs is a pretty generous comparison. Our members average 3-4 rentals a month. Our average cost of our DVDs (whether single or part of a set) is $40. So if you are on a 1 disc plan and renting $160 dollars of merchandise a month for $10.95, it's not such a bad exchange! If you are on a multiple disc plan, you can stagger your rental returns so you have less wait period between shipments since each DVD is shipped separately in it's own mailer and each DVD can be returned at any time.

How does billing work?
Programs are billed on a monthly basis. Your monthly billing date will be on the date you signed up. So, if you sign up on September 5th and pay for your first month, your next month billing will be October 5th, then November 5th, etc. If you prefer to change your billing date to coincide better with when you have funds deposited into your banking account, just contact us and let us know. We're pretty flexible. Your account will be re-billed on your monthly billing cycle date. Membership account upgrades take place immediately. If you upgrade your membership, we will automatically update your membership plan billing and ship your additional DVDs the very next day. If you downgrade your membership plan, your membership plan billing will be changed as soon as your outstanding DVDs are returned.

For Membership Cancellations: You may cancel at any time. If you cancel and still have DVD titles out, you will still get billed if they are not returned before your next billing cycle. A DVD is still considered "rented out" until it is returned back since we cannot rent it to other members. Upon cancellation, all DVDs must be returned within 10 days. Once we receive the DVDs back in the mail, your membership will be effectively terminated. For more information about billing and membership policies, please view our terms and conditions.
