Enhanced Foal Training II by Allen Pogue

Enhanced Foal Training II
Allen Pogue

EFT II features a more detailed explanation of the original (EFT I) handling techniques and refinement of the foal's skills. Sombra, now a two-year-old filly that was featured in EFT I, acts as Allen's "assistant trainer" with the younger foals in EFT II.

Learn how to teach correct and desired behaviors to a foal from the very beginning. EFT is a methodology for bringing up young horses to be honest, highly intelligent and most importantly, adaptable.

EFT II includes many new, non-stressful, age appropriate challenges that are fund and help to create a lasting bond between foal and handler. The logical method teaches foals to "learn how to learn" while it promotes skills and respect that are easily transferred to a foal's "higher education" requirements upon physical maturity. Foals can develop a life long work ethic that applies to independent work and working in unison with other foals.

Dr. Robert M. Miller (Imprinting) recognizes Allen Pogue's exceptional work with foals in his book, "A Revolution in Horsemanship".

Allen formed Imagine A Horse to bring Trick Horse Training into the 21st Century. He actively works with students, both human and equine from around the globe. Imagine a Horse is a fresh and innovative training lifestyle that focuses on the horse as a companion and friend in sport, at home, and in the field.

IAH training methods include Enhanced Foal Training, Enlightened Trick Training and Circensic Dressage. The logic and structure of the lessons are easy for a horse to understand. Horse and human participants learn to build a relationship through understanding each other as individuals whie still maintaining the proper heard hierarchy.

Imagine a Horse methods can be applied to horses of all ages, breeds, and training disciplines. Perhaps the most compelling aspect of these methods is that the horse learns how to learn. We like to refer our methods as Agility Training for the horse's mind and body.
